I will say, when/if you kill the foreign guy who caused your tree to go away your old tree comes back, BUT it is not as cool as one poster pointed out, it is NOT like a regime change because the new leader's full tree never shows.the new leader and his wife do not even appear on the tree, just his dead parents.Īnyway, I was able to get Guy to become my heir, finally, I had to boost his authority to ensure it was HIM and not the Duke of York's son (oh, I must've had to kill him, too because York is vacant) but now I have a severe lack of nobles in England.in order to solve this problem I had to start giving Guy and his would-be Princess (Odo's other daughter) moonshine potion to make them more fertile.aka fertility cheats.hopefully Duke Guy and his Princess give me a flock of young Plantagenets.I need someone to sit in York, well every English city but Aberdeen, Exeter and Edinberg, for that matter. The Family Tree is a visual representation of the web of character relationships within your faction, and offers the functionality for you to interact with those characters and generate Intrigues, which bring new gameplay options.

The same thing happened to me when my Princess married a French noble.I think he was the King of France's son, but not his heir.anyway, I wanted Edward Plantagenet's son to become heir to the English throne so I killed this guy named Odo, who was Edward's adopted son and the current heir, and then I saw it was making Odo's son the heir, rather than Guy, so I killed Odo's son, too, except then it was making the guy my Princess married heir, still over Guy, but at least Edward's brother Edmund became heir, so I didn't mind, the family tree was once again in Plantagenet's hands.that is until I looked at the family tree and all that showed was the dead King/Queen of France.not their children, one of whom would be my Princess's husband, so it wasn't that cool.and Edmund has no sons so I was going to face the same succession problems soon down the road.anyway, that is a lot of unnesecary background information. - RUN THE MOD WITH THE SHORTCUT OR THE EoF.vbs if you are using non-steam - IF YOU HAVE STEAM, DOWNLOAD Steam solution READ AND FOLLOW THE STEPS IN THE readme INSTALL it to \Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War - IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS 10, set medieval2.
